Meet ~ “The Group”
A lifelong resident of NWI, Steve joined his wife, Lisa Thompson, as Lead Buyer Specialist for the Lisa Thompson Realty Group in 2013. Prior to becoming a Realtor, Steve was a bricklayer and ran projects such as the Modern Wing Addition at the Art Institute of Chicago and Rush University Medical Center. He has competed in the SpecMix 500 National Bricklayer Competition several times, taking home the Craftsman Award the year he actually became a Realtor.
Steve’s background in construction, including residential new home construction, helps him uniquely guide buyers through the home buying and search process. His high work ethic, drive in negotiations, & charismatic personality puts buyers at ease and in the best possible position to find the right home at the right price!
Leading over 75 buyer sales each year, he has the experience to guide buyers through the Real Estate Maze: from financing and value analytics to home inspections and closing, he has the answers that TODAY’S BUYERS NEED.
Natalie joined the Lisa Thompson Realty Group as a Buyer Specialist after having years of experience in Real Estate, which began during High School when she took a job as a receptionist at a local Real Estate office. She graduated from Ball State in 2010 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications. She went on to work for ABC57 in South Bend as an Account Executive in sales, but her heart brought her back to NWI and Real Estate.
Because of her years of experience in Real Estate, as well as her education, sales, & client service background, Natalie knows what needs to be done in order to get the job done right. Natalie worked as a listing specialist prior to joining The Group, which gives her a keen insight into the Seller’s side, which benefits her Buyers tremendously during negotiations. She prides herself on great customer service by making sure her Buyers are comfortable throughout the entire process.
Natalie’s strong work ethic and excellent communication skills allow her to handle a multitude of tasks successfully while keeping an eye on every detail to protect her client’s interest.
Having lived in Downtown Chicago after graduating from Purdue University, Sam and her husband recently purchased new construction in the Heart of Lake County (Crown Point, Indiana). Having past experience in both sales and office management, as well as being intrigued by real estate with her recent home buying experience, Sam was excited to join the Group as Lead Office Admin during its formation. Graduating with a Bachelor’s in Selling and Sales Management and a Minor in Organizational Leadership, Sam was the perfect candidate to organize the ‘new office opening’ and create the systems needed to run a smooth sailing operation.
Sam helps the Group with contract processing, transaction and database management, & back-office operations. Sam’s easy-going personality and eagerness to help, truly makes her a big asset to The Group.
